Account Executive | Collateral Partners

We're hiring Account Executives to close inbound business at Collateral Partners, a strategic communications platform serving 400+ investment firms, asset managers, and financial institutions.


This is a pure closing role. Inbound interest is strong and steady, and your job is to turn qualified conversations into signed retainers. You run the full sales cycle from first call through close, then hand the account to an Account Manager at kickoff and go straight back to the next deal. You are not managing accounts or chasing cold lists. You are closing warm, high-intent demand from sophisticated buyers.


What You'll Own

  • The full sales cycle on inbound leads: discovery, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Diagnosing each prospect's situation and mapping it to the right mix of Collateral's six service lines
  • Building tailored scopes and pricing that hold their value through procurement and into kickoff
  • Negotiating and closing quarterly and annual retainer agreements
  • A clean, accurate pipeline and reliable forecast in the CRM
  • A smooth handoff to the Account Manager at kickoff, with a full briefing so the account starts strong
  • Hitting and exceeding a quarterly new-business target


What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years closing B2B deals, ideally in professional services, agency, or financial services
  • A track record of hitting or beating quota on consultative, multi-stakeholder sales
  • Strong discovery instincts: you diagnose the real problem before you propose a solution
  • Comfort selling to sophisticated financial buyers, including GPs, founders, CFOs, and heads of IR
  • The judgment to qualify hard and protect your time for the deals that will actually close
  • Writing and presence that read as institutional, from the first email to the closing call
  • Pipeline discipline: forecasting and CRM hygiene are part of the job, not an afterthought
  • Financial services or professional services background is a strong plus
  • Dallas-based or willing to relocate. This role is on-site.


Compensation: Competitive base plus uncapped commission tied to closed new business
