Job Overview
We are building a powerhouse team of consumer‑centric, business‑building social media marketers. We are looking for individuals with exceptional leadership and strategic thinking who enjoy working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. In this entrepreneurial role, you will create content for our brands (in‑house and with agency partners), own community management, lead social listening, build a measurement approach to track progress against KPIs, and work closely with our brand teams and other cross‑functional partners to ensure our social strategy is driving equity.
Responsibilities
Develop breakthrough social content that increases brand equity, engages consumers, and drives cultural relevance for our brands.
Create an editorial calendar with an appropriate balance of proactive and real‑time content.
Build community: lead community management for your brands; increase brand engagement and positive sentiment, and appropriately intersect organic social conversation.
Lead social listening: own social listening to keep pulse on brand sentiment and conversation themes, and report regularly on key learnings to Brand and Integrated Marketing teams.
Own analytics and optimization: analyze performance, report on progress against KPIs, identify key insights, and develop recommendations for ongoing optimization.
Act as a social evangelist in the business, helping influence the adoption of and enthusiasm for social media across the organization while staying current on emerging technologies and trends.
Team Collaboration
Strong collaboration across all functions and with all organization levels.
Qualifications
6–8 years of social media experience, ideally with both client‑side and food/consumer packaged goods experience.
Highly creative with experience developing effective social content, both in‑house and by leveraging content partners and UGC.
Experience managing influencer relationships and/or brand ambassador programs.
Strong understanding of social channels (specifically TikTok and Instagram) and tools, with a history of hands‑on, keyboard‑execution.
Balance of strong strategic thinking and flawless execution, with impeccable attention to detail.
Bias toward innovation and experimentation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to inform, influence, and negotiate across functions and with all organization levels.
Ability to story‑tell well via PowerPoint.
Experience with influencer relationships across platforms with a point of view on best practices.
Technologically savvy with knowledge of social analytics and content creation tools.
Nice to Have
Experience in the food or consumer packaged goods industry.
Compensation and Benefits
The target base salary range for this full‑time, salaried position is $112,600–$154,800, depending on experience and location. Total pay may include additional compensation. Benefits begin on day one and include medical, dental, short and long‑term disability, AD&D, and life insurance (for individual, families, and domestic partners). Employees are eligible for our matching 401(k) plan with immediate vesting.
