Job Summary
The Sr. CI/OT Specialist develops relationships with business units to identify, develop, and support IT/OT services. The role designs, implements, maintains, and secures OT network and platform infrastructure in industrial control environments and serves as the main point of contact for service issues.
DKL Integration Responsibilities
Design, implement, maintain, and secure OT network and platform infrastructure at DKL sites.
Ensure reliability, stability, and security of OT systems, support integration with IT networks, and manage 3rd‑party vendors.
Maintain compliance with NIST, IEC 62443, ISA‑99, and other industry regulations.
Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade computer systems hardware and software; coordinate escalations with vendors.
Collaborate with technology resources, leadership, and customers to develop solutions that support safe, compliant operations.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (required).
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Six (6) or more years of related experience (required).
Three (3) years of OT network engineering or management (required).
Strong knowledge of industrial networking standards (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, MQTT), routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP), VLAN configuration, and Purdue model segmentation.
Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance (NIST, IEC 62443, NERC CIP).
Proficiency in VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper‑V, network monitoring tools, and disaster recovery planning.
Preferred: experience with SCADA systems, virtual servers, backup environments, OT wireless networks, virtual server infrastructure, process historians, report generation, capacity planning, team management, project management, and operational incidents.

End‑user support for corporate hardware and software.
Own ticket lifecycle from creation to resolution.
Escalate tickets to appropriate groups.
Compile and present operational reports and identify trends.
IT and OT system hardware management, ensuring availability, backup, and disaster recovery.
Administer IT/OT systems; key resource for projects and initiatives.
Develop and maintain OT network topologies, manage routers, switches, wireless access points, LANs, WANs, and F5 BigIP systems.
Manage 3rd‑party carriers and network service providers.
State OT network troubleshooting, ensuring stability and reliability (cellular, satellite, radio, terrestrial).
Install and maintain OT cabinets, UPS systems, cabling, fiber, environmental monitoring.
Provide 24/7/365 support for OT networks and systems.
Perform OS patching, upgrades, and backups.
Manage Active Directory architecture and user access.
Collaborate with IT, SCADA, operations, and engineering teams.
Maintain documentation of OT network setups, processes, and security protocols.
Oversee IT/OT system development, vendor support, and project planning for upgrades and capital projects.
Lead operational incidents and maintenance activities.
Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, incident response protocols, and ensure compliance with NIST, IEC 62443, ISA‑99.
Provide strategic input into OT network architecture roadmaps and long‑term planning.
Support across multiple sites with periodic travel to remote locations.
