Penske Automotive Group is looking for a creative and social media-savvy Social Media Coordinator to join our team and help elevate our digital presence through engaging content and storytelling.

As a Social Media Coordinator, you will create and manage content across multiple social media platforms while helping strengthen brand awareness, customer engagement, and dealership visibility.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Passion for social media, content creation, and digital storytelling
Experience creating content for social platforms
Proficiency with video editing, photo editing, and content creation tools
Understanding of social media trends, analytics, and audience engagement strategies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of copyrighting and adhering to PAG social/video policies.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
Experience in automotive, retail, or consumer-facing brands is a plus
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media platforms
Capture and produce photo, video, and short-form content that highlights dealership inventory, employees, events, and customer experiences
Assist with video editing, photography, and content creation initiatives
Attend dealership events and community activities to capture social media content (occasional evenings and weekends may be required)
Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to increase engagement and brand awareness
Track and report on social media performance metrics, content effectiveness, and audience growth
Engage with online communities and help maintain a positive brand reputation across social channel
Ensure all content aligns with company branding, compliance requirements, and social media best practices

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Standard Business Hours with ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; and one to three years of related experience in marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree and three to five years' experience in a similar position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have a current and unsuspended motor vehicle license.
