About Agri Spray Drones
Agri Spray Drones (ASD) is the leading distributor of agricultural spray drones in the United States, operating at the forefront of agricultural technology. Our mission is to Empower Rural America — providing cutting‑edge drone solutions that help farmers, dealers, and operators grow their businesses and advance the future of agriculture. We live by three core values: Education, Service, and Integrity.
We are deeply committed to advancing the agricultural industry by equipping our dealer network with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to succeed.
Position Overview
Agri Spray Drones is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Director of Sales to lead our growing sales organization. This is a high‑impact leadership role for someone who is not content to manage from a distance — this leader works alongside the team, rolls up their sleeves, and understands that the best way to build a great team is to earn their trust every day.
Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, this individual will oversee all B2B and B2C sales functions for the United States, lead our Key Account Manager (KAM) team, and drive the growth of ASD's national dealer network. They will work cross‑functionally alongside the Director of Marketing and other members of our growing team. This is a role for a culture champion — someone who builds great people, great processes, and great dealer relationships all at once.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and mentor the Key Account Manager (KAM) team with a 'work with the team' — not 'team works for you' — mindset
Serve as a trusted mentor, especially for less-experienced team members, creating a safe environment to speak up, ask questions, and grow
Build and sustain a high‑functioning team culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Empower the team to develop their own strategies and plans, then use your experience to poke holes, refine thinking, and elevate outcomes
Lead by example — be present in the field, attend tradeshows, dealer meetings, and recruitment efforts alongside the KAMs
Avoid micromanagement; instead establish clear structure, aligned goals, and trust your team to execute
Dealer Network Growth & Accountability
Drive strategic expansion of ASD's dealer network into underserved markets across the country
Solve complex dealer recruitment challenges and develop creative strategies to grow territories
Hold all dealers to a consistent standard — no special treatment; build a network defined by shared values and mutual accountability
Foster strong ASD‑dealer relationships that are built on trust, clear expectations, and a shared commitment to performance
Work with dealers to help them hit the growth goals they set out to achieve
Strategy & Execution
Develop and communicate a clear, structured sales strategy — one the team fully understands and can execute against
Bring creative, flexible thinking to the role; be willing to try new approaches and evolve with the market
Adapt strategy to account for territory‑specific differences and dynamics across diverse regions
Develop familiarity with EA Vision drone products and the basics of their operation to better lead and support the team
Challenge ideas respectfully — including from leadership — when your experience warrants it
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with the Director of Marketing, Operations Manager, and R&D Team to align sales with company‑wide initiatives
Serve as a strong, outspoken voice in leadership conversations, advocating for the sales team and dealer network
Take clear ownership of decisions and follow through with consistency and transparency
Goals & Success Metrics
Join ASD at a critical inflection point — scaling from a regional distributor model to US manufacturing and direct‑to‑market sales — and own the revenue function with the product, team, and market position to hit aggressive growth targets.
Expand the dealer network to fill existing coverage gaps and achieve strong national market presence
Ensure all dealers are performing against the goals they committed to, with consistent accountability across the network
Build a sales team culture where every KAM is growing professionally and performing at their highest level
Qualifications
Required
10+ years of progressive sales experience in agricultural equipment, ag precision technology, crop protection, or a closely related field serving the farming community
5+ years of sales leadership or team management experience — this should not be your first leadership role
Deep understanding of the farmer mentality — how money moves on a farm, how buying decisions are made, and how to build trust in ag communities
Proven experience in B2B sales and distribution or dealer network management
Strong organizational skills with the ability to implement structure, process, and accountability across a team
Transparent, direct, and effective communicator — able to deliver plans clearly and have tough conversations respectfully
Approachable leadership style that fosters genuine professional development
Proven problem‑solver with experience tackling dealer recruitment and territory growth challenges
Willingness to travel — attend tradeshows, dealer meetings, and field visits alongside the KAM team
Willingness to learn and develop working knowledge of EA Vision drones and ASD's product offerings
Preferred
National‑level sales experience with exposure to managing diverse, multi‑territory teams
Experience growing or restructuring a dealer or distributor network at scale
Demonstrated track record of building team culture and developing sales talent from the ground up
Adaptability and creative thinking — someone who evolves with the industry and isn't locked into one way of doing things
Reporting Structure
Reports directly to: CEO & COO
Direct reports: Key Account Managers (Territory Representatives), Direct Sales Team
Cross‑functional partners: Director of Marketing, Operations Manager, R&D Team, etc
Benefits
Base Salary
Generous annual salary, commensurate with experience
Profit Sharing
Company-level profit share program
Retirement
3% company match on Roth IRA contributions
Paid Time Off
20 days of PTO per year
Paid holidays annually
Up to 5 unused PTO days roll over to the following year (maximum 25 PTO days in year two+)
