Southcrest Baptist Church is seeking a Creative Director to provide vision, leadership, and creative strategy for church-wide communications. This role serves as a key leader on the Communications Team, helping shape how Southcrest tells stories, communicates ministry opportunities, and engages people with the gospel through compelling visual and digital content.

The Creative Director will oversee the church's creative direction and brand consistency while partnering closely with ministry leaders to support their communication needs. This individual will lead and develop a talented team of creatives, including design, video, and digital content staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, innovation, and growth.

The ideal candidate is both a visionary and a coach. They can generate creative ideas, think strategically about communication, and inspire others to execute a shared vision. They are an excellent communicator, a collaborative partner, and someone who thrives in a fast‑paced ministry environment which serves around 3,000 attendees each Sunday through multiple worship services and weekly programs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the creative vision and direction for church-wide projects, events, and campaigns.

Oversee brand standards and ensure excellence across all communication channels.

Develop and mentor members of the Communications Team.

Partner with ministry leaders to create effective communication strategies.

Help streamline communication processes and improve organizational alignment.

Collaborate with church leadership to advance the mission and vision of Southcrest.

Contribute to annual strategic planning and team development initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

A strong portfolio demonstrating creative leadership and design excellence.

Experience in graphic design, branding, communications, or a related field.

Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.

A passion for developing people and helping teams succeed.
