Job Description
Provide leadership and coordination for all state and federal programs in the district (Federal Title Programs (I-IV), ESSA, Bilingual/English as a Second Language, Migrant, and State Compensatory Education). Coordinate the pre-award planning, organization, preparation, and the post-award administration of various grants. Develop and monitor compliance processes and systems to ensure and maintain 100% compliance with fiscal and programmatic accountability standards. Coordinate the Instructional Materials program throughout the district. Coordinate summer school programs. Coordinate district-wide registration processes. Coordinate in-district residency issues.

Duty Days: 226 Days

Salary: Salary offered will be based on commensurate experience.

Qualifications

Master's Degree

Mid Management or Principal Certification

Valid Texas Teaching Certificate

Special Knowledge/Skills

Knowledge of federal regulations and state guidance concerning Title and State Compensatory Education (SCE) programs, including the application process and compliance procedures.

Knowledge of Education Department General Administration Regulations (EDGAR), including supplement/supplant, time and effort, etc.

Knowledge of purchasing guidelines within 2 CFR Part 200

Knowledge of the Instructional Materials Allotment (IMA), instructional materials selection and out of adoption processes

Ability to organize and manage multiple programs/complex tasks simultaneously and independently to meet deadlines

Advanced skill in analyzing financial activities, budget analysis and preparation, and applying appropriate resolution to problem situations

Skill in interpreting the application of law, regulations, complex systems, and technical information and explain effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders

Ability to evaluate programs as related to State and Federal funding

Ability to maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of District personnel and outside organizations

Ability to perform duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with minimum supervision

Ability to maintain professional behavior, appearance, and work ethic to represent the District in a positive manner at all times and work in a team environment

Skill in operating a variety of technology applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Google applications)

Moderate proficiency in databases, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Excel

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Experience

Three years of teaching experience

Two years experience in state/federal programs management or administration preferred
