Role: An English Professor and novelist on sabbatical and in the middle of a divorce while being the sole caretaker for his elderly mother with late stage Alzheimer's. His compartmentalization skills are impeccable, but life demands are catching up with him.

Female 75-79 y.o.
Ethnicity: All ethnicities.
Role: An elderly mother in the late stages of Alzheimer’s, widowed and taken care of by her eldest child. She is content and wise amidst her cognitive decline. She forms a close and playful relationship with a child ghost in her home.
