Responsibilities Design and deliver comprehensive communication strategies supporting Arrowhead’s corporate reputation and key initiatives, including the launch of plozasiran and broader pipeline milestones.
Lead the strategy, management, and evolution of Arrowhead’s global website and social media platforms for consistent, impactful brand storytelling.
Craft high-quality written materials (company narratives, executive communications, press releases, social content, op-eds, presentations) aligned with Arrowhead’s voice and objectives.
Direct and collaborate with external communications partners to deliver high-caliber, on‑brand work with measurable impact.
Partner with Investor Relations, HR, Marketing, Medical, Legal, and other internal teams to align corporate messaging across all touchpoints.
Support budget management and resource allocation for communications programs and agency engagements.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
10 years of progressively responsible experience in corporate communications/public relations (preferably biotech/pharma/healthcare).
Proven ability to develop and implement integrated communication strategies.
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills for senior executives, media, and digital channels.
Demonstrated success managing media outreach, press materials, and preparing leaders for interviews/speaking.
Strong understanding of corporate digital strategy (website, social, content optimization).
Ability to partner across Investor Relations, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Legal for alignment/compliance.
Experience leading teams or agency partners; manage budgets and deliver under tight deadlines.
Strong understanding of regulatory/compliance considerations in healthcare communications; sound judgment in sensitive/high‑profile situations.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Travel10–15%.
Preferred Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or Master’s in Communications).
Experience with corporate branding, thought leadership, and executive visibility.
Experience supporting product launches or scientific communications in life sciences.
Crisis/issues management experience.
Familiarity with investor/financial communications and IR alignment.
Global communications and multi‑market campaign experience.
Benefits California pay range: $190,000 USD - $220,000 USD.
