Director – Signalling & Integration Expert -Major Rail Programme

We are retained by a leading programme management consultancy (PMC) operating on a flagship transportation infrastructure programme in the Middle East to appoint a Director-level Signalling & Integration Expert.

This is a senior technical leadership appointment for an accomplished rail systems professional with deep expertise across signalling, systems integration, and large‑scale rail infrastructure delivery. The successful candidate will bring proven technical authority and the ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary programmes at the highest level.

The Role
You will provide expert technical leadership across signalling systems and programme‑wide integration, encompassing interface management, design assurance, testing and commissioning, and operational readiness. You will engage with confidence at executive level across clients, consultants, contractors, and operators throughout the full delivery lifecycle.

The Candidate
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Systems, or Rail Engineering
20+ years' experience in rail signalling and transportation systems
Deep technical expertise across CBTC, ETCS, ATP, ATS, interlocking, and telecom integration
Proven track record on large‑scale metro, mainline, or high‑speed rail programmes
Background within leading international consultancies, railway operators, or Tier‑1 infrastructure environments
GCC or international megaproject experience strongly preferred
