As part of our Activation & Optimization team, the Operators and Negotiators, you help transform strategy into action. This team brings audience insights and media plans to life through thoughtful investment, disciplined execution, and continuous optimization. From digital platforms to advanced TV ecosystems, we ensure every decision is intentional, every investment is accountable, and every opportunity is maximized.
As Director, Digital Investment, you serve as a strategic leader across the agency. You guide complex investment strategies, shape marketplace partnerships, mentor and develop talent, and act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams. You balance immediate business needs with long‑term growth opportunities, helping ensure our investment approach remains innovative, effective, and aligned with client objectives. Your leadership elevates both the work and the people delivering it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Strategic Investment Leadership
- Lead digital and advanced TV investment strategy across CTV, OTT, OLV, Audio, Streaming, Programmatic, and emerging platforms.
- Develop investment frameworks and marketplace strategies that align audience insights, business objectives, and media performance goals.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, testing, and optimization that create measurable business impact.
- Translate marketplace trends, platform developments, and emerging technologies into actionable recommendations for clients and teams.
- Serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients, providing investment expertise, marketplace intelligence, and performance‑driven recommendations.
- Lead executive‑level presentations, investment reviews, and strategic planning discussions.
- Build trusted relationships through transparency, credibility, and thoughtful guidance.
- Support new business opportunities by representing Attention Arc's investment philosophy, capabilities, and strategic approach.
- Lead negotiations for enterprise‑level agreements, preferred partnerships, annual commitments, and strategic marketplace initiatives.
- Cultivate strong relationships with media partners to unlock value, innovation, first‑to‑market opportunities, and competitive advantages for clients.
- Ensure investments are aligned with agency standards, client goals, and evolving marketplace dynamics.
Team Development & Operational Excellence
- Mentor, coach, and develop Associate Directors, Supervisors, and Investment team members.
- Elevate strategic thinking, investment acumen, analytical rigor, and communication skills across the team.
- Establish and maintain high standards for executional quality, operational consistency, and investment stewardship.
- Foster collaboration across Planning, Account Services, Analytics, Operations, Linear Investment, and Technology teams.
- Contribute to building a culture of continuous learning, curiosity, accountability, and growth.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Experience & Technical Expertise
8-10+ years of experience in digital investment, media activation, advanced TV, or related media leadership roles.
Strong performance media background with a track record of driving measurable business outcomes.
Deep expertise across CTV, OTT, OLV, Programmatic, Audio, Streaming, and emerging digital media ecosystems.
Significant video investment experience, including strategic planning, marketplace negotiations, and performance optimization.
Strong publisher and media partner negotiation skills, including experience securing favorable pricing, added value, and strategic partnerships.
Experience managing and developing high‑performing teams, including coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
Advanced understanding of media marketplace dynamics, vendor negotiations, pricing models, and investment strategies.
Experience managing complex, multi‑channel investment portfolios and large‑scale client relationships.
Advanced understanding of measurement frameworks, attribution methodologies, and performance optimization.

Established relationships with key publishers, media partners, and platform representatives.
Experience supporting direct response and performance‑focused clients.
Experience working within a performance‑driven independent agency environment.
Familiarity with emerging measurement approaches, audience strategies, and evolving media technologies.
Benefits
Compensation: The estimated range for this role is $130,000 – $160,000. Compensation packages are based on the skill level and experience each candidate brings to the role.

LOCATION
We operate on a hybrid, in‑office model designed to foster collaboration, mentorship, and hands‑on learning. Employees are expected to work from the office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) to fully experience the energy of our teams and build meaningful connections.
Candidates must reside in and be able to commute to one of the following office locations, three days a week:
