Position Summary

As the Senior PM‑T for Promos and Advertising within the Media Supply Chain, you will serve as a key contributor and thought leader for how Warner Bros. Discovery will scale to meet the numerous promotional and advertising requirements across the direct‑to‑consumer and linear lines of business. You will work with Media Supply Chain engineering, Product Management, Media Logistics, Content Operations, and stakeholders to define strategy and build platforms that create cutting‑edge workflows for the acquisition, enrichment, and distribution of WBD’s content to a global audience of hundreds of millions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary interface with a wide stakeholder group to identify use cases, prioritize needs, and drive successful implementation and adoption with operational teams.
  • Produce product artifacts (PRFAQs, Requirements, Jira tickets, status reports, and product presentations) that are clear and concise, aligning with north‑star strategy, vision, OKRs, and short‑term business objectives to scale promotional and advertising materials.
  • Collaborate with production management, operations, media logistics, marketing, and merchandising teams to conceive, resource, and build features that simplify workflows and enable rapid global expansion, adopting a “hands‑off‑the‑wheel” approach.
  • Engage engineering teams within Media Supply Chain and the Global Video Platform to build alignment around a vision for WBD’s in‑house media supply chain platform and drive adoption across internal tools.
  • Iterate and improve upon the tools described above to enable Warner Bros. Discovery to rapidly enhance its slate of existing and upcoming digital products worldwide.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with inventory management and experience working with marketing teams to understand and articulate their strategies to technical teams.
  • Experience developing requirements for international media usage, including localization and country‑specific requirements.
  • Deep understanding of media workflows, content management systems, and direct‑to‑consumer services, with a forward‑looking view of industry trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with engineering teams and presenting to executive leadership at all levels.
  • Adopts a phased approach to delivering software, with an iterative mindset.
  • 5+ years of product management experience collaborating with software engineering teams to deliver complex initiatives spanning multiple teams under deadline pressure.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a major media production company or SVOD service.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Nice to have: experience with advertising technology and workflows.
