To support the development of high-quality instructional materials, the contract Creative Content Development Copywriter will work onsite in Nashville, TN, leading the creation of a cohesive design framework for K-2 supplemental science units and ensuring materials are visually engaging and accessible.
Key responsibilities
Lead the development of a state-approved design framework for K-2 supplemental science units
Refine existing Tennessee-adapted units and collaborate on additional units for future release
Ensure all materials comply with accessibility standards and align with TDOE branding expectations
Required qualifications
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Adobe Pro, InDesign, and Canva
Experience in branding, digital marketing, or graphic design
Familiarity with state and federal ADA compliance regulations
Background in K-12 science content is desirable
Ability to adhere to TDOE guidance on style and branding requirements
