As a full-time Staff Game Engine Engineer working remotely, the candidate will shape the technical direction of AtomEngine, drive architectural decisions, and guide the evolution of a scalable cloud-based simulation and modeling platform.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive the technical vision and architecture of AtomEngine to support simulation, AI, and modeling requirements
Lead the design and evolution of core engine systems, frameworks, and developer tooling to enhance platform effectiveness
Own architectural decisions related to engine runtime, editor tooling, performance infrastructure, and platform scalability
Required Qualifications
9+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly in game engines or performance-critical systems
Experience owning the architecture and technical direction of large-scale engine or platform systems
Deep understanding of game engine architecture and data-oriented design
Proven track record leading complex technical initiatives across multiple teams
Experience optimizing performance, scalability, and developer workflows in large codebases
