Multimodality Technician

Role Description
This full-time on-site role, based in Charleston, SC, is for a Multimodality Technician. The Multimodality Technician will perform diagnostic imaging procedures as required, ensuring adherence to clinical standards, safety protocols, and patient care guidelines. Duties include preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating and maintaining imaging equipment, and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a high standard of customer service within the imaging department.

Qualifications

Proficiency in operating and maintaining imaging equipment, including MRI, CT, X-ray, or Ultrasound machines

Ability to perform various diagnostic imaging procedures in compliance with clinical and safety regulations

Strong patient care skills, including the ability to effectively communicate procedures and ensure patient comfort

Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and thorough patient records and reports

Effective collaboration and communication skills to work seamlessly with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

Certification or licensure in radiologic technology or a related field; ARRT or equivalent preferred

Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role is preferred
