AV Support Technician

Summary
Provide technical support for audio-visual and collaboration technologies used in meetings, presentations, and events. This role is responsible for maintaining conference room technology, supporting video conferencing platforms, troubleshooting technical issues, and delivering a high level of end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, test, and troubleshoot audio-visual and collaboration technologies.
Support video conferencing platforms, conference room systems, and presentation technologies.
Provide technical support for meetings, webinars, town halls, executive presentations, and special events.
Perform pre-event testing, sound checks, and live meeting support.
Troubleshoot conference room and meeting technology issues and manage support tickets through resolution.
Maintain inventory of AV equipment, accessories, and related technology assets.
Conduct preventative maintenance and routine testing of AV and collaboration systems.
Assist with deployment, configuration, and upgrades of conference room and collaboration technologies.
Document procedures, maintain operational standards, and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Participate in technology projects and provide after-hours support when required.
Qualifications

Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to support executives, clients, and end users in high-visibility environments.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to remain professional and effective under pressure.
Experience

2+ years of audio-visual, collaboration technology, or technical support experience.
Experience supporting video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and similar solutions.
Experience with conference room technology, presentation systems, and AV equipment.
Familiarity with AV control platforms, room scheduling systems, and ticketing tools preferred.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office applications.
Experience supporting executive meetings, client-facing events, or professional services environments preferred.
