Job Summary
As a Regional Sales Manager – DOJ, you will drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles and work with our internal partners and teams to best serve the customer.
Responsibilities
Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles in collaboration with internal partners.
Initiate long‑standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors.
Create and implement strategic account plans focused on attaining enterprise‑wide deployments.
Position Palo Alto Networks by understanding the strategic competitive landscape and customer needs.
Engage in a programmatic approach to demand generation, development, and expansion within your territory.
Leverage prospect stories to create a compelling value proposition with insights into value for each account.
Stay updated on industry news and trends and their impact on Palo Alto Networks products and services.
Travel as necessary within your territory and to company‑wide meetings.
Qualifications
Experience and knowledge of SaaS‑based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security context; awareness of SASE technology is preferred.
Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with channel partners to support a channel‑centric go‑to‑market approach.
Proven ability to lead all aspects of the sales cycle, from qualification to closing new, white‑space territories and accounts.
Deep knowledge of the U.S. Federal Civilian (DOJ) agency.
Track record of selling complex solutions.
Excellent time‑management skills and ability to work autonomously with high levels of self‑direction.
Highly competitive, rapid ramp‑up, adaptable, and pride on exceeding production goals.
Compensation
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non‑sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
$264,000.00 – $363,000.00/yr

Motor‑Vehicle Requirement
This role may require travel to and from Palo Alto Networks, Inc. business meetings and events and requires reliable transportation to do so. If a hire chooses to drive in connection with company business, the hire for this role must maintain a valid driver’s license.
