Job Description

Turner & Townsend is looking for a Director- Scheduling to lead scheduling services on key client accounts. This individual will not only be responsible for the delivery of successful scheduling services but also will assist in growing services with new and existing clients.
Responsibilities:
Program Master Schedule Leadership

Lead development, integration, and management of the Program Master Schedule (PMS) for multi-billion-dollar aviation programs.
Define schedule architecture, WBS alignment, coding structures, and logic integration across all delivery partners.
Ensure seamless linkage between design, construction, procurement, commissioning, and operational readiness schedules.

Schedule Governance & Controls

Establish and enforce Turner & Townsend scheduling standards, procedures, and governance frameworks.
Oversee schedule baselines, change control, progress validation, and schedule health assessments.
Ensure compliance with client, federal, and aviation-specific scheduling requirements.
SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Risk, Delay, and Scenario Analysis

Lead schedule risk analysis (SRA), critical path evaluation, and probabilistic forecasting.
Direct forensic schedule analysis for delays, disruptions, and claims.
Provide scenario modeling and recovery strategies to support executive decision-making.

Executive Reporting & Client Interface

Deliver high-clarity dashboards, KPIs, and schedule performance narratives for client leadership and governance boards.
Present schedule insights to airport authorities, federal agencies, and senior stakeholders.
Translate complex schedule data into actionable recommendations aligned with program objectives.

Team Leadership & Partner Coordination

Lead and mentor a team of schedulers, analysts, and controls professionals across multiple projects.
Support delivery partners in adopting best-in-class scheduling practices.
Serve as the program's senior advisor on sequencing, phasing, and schedule optimization.

Subject Matter Expertise:
Lead the creation and management of detailed, resource-loaded schedules for multiple construction projects, ensuring timelines are realistic and achievable.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project schedules, including milestones, deliverables, and critical paths.
Establish baseline schedules and track project progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ensure effective communication and coordination of scheduling between various teams (design, engineering, procurement, and construction).
Monitor and analyze schedule performance, proactively identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to stay on track.
Prepare and present regular schedule updates and reports to senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders.
Identify potential risks related to project scheduling and develop strategies to mitigate delays, resource constraints, and other scheduling-related issues.
Facilitate schedule-related problem-solving sessions to resolve conflicts and minimize disruptions.
Establish best practices and standardized processes for scheduling across all projects.
Drive innovation in project planning and scheduling strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Work closely with project management and finance teams to ensure that scheduling aligns with project budgets and resource availability.
Track resource utilization and recommend adjustments to optimize project timelines.
Qualifications

12+ years of experience in project controls, scheduling, or program management for major capital programs.
Proven experience in aviation, transportation, or federal infrastructure.
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and enterprise scheduling systems.
Demonstrated success developing and managing integrated master schedules (IMS) for complex, multi-phase programs.
Strong command of schedule risk analysis, critical path methodology, and forensic delay analysis.
Ability to communicate effectively with executive-level stakeholders.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with airport authorities, FAA programs, or federal capital delivery.
Background in design-build, CMAR, progressive design-build, or multi-prime delivery.
Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM), program controls systems, and federal reporting frameworks.
Professional certifications such as PSP, PMI-SP, CCP, or equivalent.
Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role is $200K-$230K per year.

Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
