Red Door Escape room is opening our newest experience! Game Show Studio is where fun meets competition. We host interactive game show events for families, friends, and corporate teams, delivering excitement and laughter to every participant. Our studio offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, vibrant environment where no two days are the same.

What You’ll Do

Host & Produce Game Shows: Lead live, interactive game show events, engaging participants with enthusiasm and humor.

Facilitate Studio Operations: Set up and break down events, manage technical equipment, and ensure smooth event execution.

Guest Engagement: Provide exceptional service, ensuring all guests have an incredible experience from start to finish.

What We’re Looking For

Charismatic performers with excellent public speaking skills.

High‑energy individuals who can think on their feet and adapt to any situation.

Team players with strong communication and organizational skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional corporate events.

Previous experience in hosting, performing, or customer service is a plus, but not required.

Standard HOST

Skills needed: Quick wit, crowd control, high energy, intuitive.

Fully look the part - head to toe

Control the room in a likeable way - moving the game forward

Confident - standing up, fully expressive, using hands, walking the stage well

Quick witted enough to volley short conversation with an individual while still being focused on the group

Humor is tactful for the group - not putting the group down or discouraging

Being able to speak in front of a group with skill - clear, great pace, compelling

Attitude - fits our values, eager to help the team, positive attitude towards the groups success, encouraging

Ideal: acting and improv experience

The host needs to be able to move quickly to pass the microphone around the room - the host controls the pace and it should not feel slow

The host should have their opening well rehearsed and approved by management so that it wins the group off the start.

The host explains the overarching plan for the experience, connects with the group in a meaningful way, earns the group’s trust with their sense of humor and begins to show.

Multiple awkward silences

Low energy

Repetitive questions

Not having a clear understanding of the rules

Not sticking to the flow of order, don't start at the same point every round.

No sense of time management- running out of time to play all three games

Not using team names or guest names

Poor synergy with the Producer

Not being able to read the room:

Don't ask if someone has any guesses if there are minimal letters on the board

Do not force people to get excited by repeating yelling and cheering

Do not force someone to dance the full 30 seconds if they are clearly uncomfortable

Poor tone and energy

Does not make an effort to connect to the team

Lack of knowledge and understanding of the Rules

Standard PRODUCER

The producer role is critical and challenging. The person needs to be quick on their feet while operating technology and able to help the host if they see opportunities.

Host and producer banter should be practiced and natural. Banter needs to land with the group and be tactful.

Excellently timed sound and light cues

Matching the groups energies. Tastefully picking out music that the group enjoys, picking out questions that you know will make them laugh.

Ensuring the music is ALWAYS playing but monitoring sound levels.

Teams should always be able to hear the Host and Producer over the music

Is able to match the pace set by the Host and communicate when they are on the final question

Below Expectations PRODUCER

Poor sound quality, music should ALWAYS fade out and not abruptly stop.

Overuse of a sound cue

Do not give the points to the wrong team

Poor synergy with the Host
