The Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) engages neurology specialists and key stakeholders across diverse care settings (e.g., academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts) within an assigned geography. The MS delivers clinically focused messaging to drive revenue and achieve product goals, demonstrating strong ownership, initiative, and compliant, integrity‑driven performance.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share.
Build relationships with clinicians, nurses, and patient advocacy groups.
Collaborate with cross‑functional partners (e.g., Reimbursement and Access, Regional Science Managers) to address customer needs and market dynamics.
Support sales success through participation in congresses, regional meetings, and other industry events.
Engage Rare Neurology experts and other key customers within an assigned geography to launch product and grow brand share and revenue.
Partner with stakeholders (e.g., Reimbursement and Access Specialists) to proactively address customer needs and develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives.
Develop strong working relationships with customers, internal contacts, and support groups.
Conduct rare neurology‑specific market profiling activities to understand regional and local health‑care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
Develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans to drive desired objectives.
Ensure all personnel in the account are educated on commercially available Regeneron products.
Proactively identify business opportunities and lead coordination efforts by the Rare Neurology account team.
Gain deep knowledge of each assigned account through internal research and stakeholder integration.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or advanced education/certifications a plus.
Minimum 5 years of successful experience in neurology sales and specialty/biologic/REMS products preferred; launch experience preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with key thought leaders or high‑influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations concentrated in neurology.
Proven track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with high integrity and compliance.
Results oriented with a record of successful product launches.
Strong account management experience with analytical, problem‑solving, and planning skills.
Current account management experience in calling on large neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
Strong understanding of the neurology therapeutic area and current market.

Compensation
Salary range (annually): $158,950 - $220,000
