Photographer

A successful commercial photography studio is looking to hire a part-time photographer for product shoots, primarily jewelry. You will be responsible for conducting complete photo shoots. This includes (but isn’t limited to):
carefully cleaning jewelry
setting up lights
mounting and setting up jewelry for photography
communicating with other members of the staff about post-production
In general you should be able to:
operate a camera (understand f-stops, aperture, ISO, and macro photography)
operate continuous studio lighting
work independently and be a self starter
lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs; these include studio lights, sand bags, ballast, etc.
be on your feet all day
climb a ladder and move things
be timely and reliable
speak fluent English
be available to work 2 to 3 weekdays per week, from 9am to 5pm
Salary depends on experience and ranges between $25-$40/hr. A company sponsored 401k is available after 3 months.
