We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Assistant Marketing Manager to join our team. This person is a true integrated marketer, equally comfortable crafting a content calendar, executing a brand activation, supporting client communications, and keeping projects on track. The role requires a basic understanding of the CPG landscape and general consumer marketing. The ideal candidate would have strong verbal and written communication skills with a driven, can‑do attitude. We are looking for someone who loves building relationships, has exceptional attention to detail, can multi‑task, and handle many diverse projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
Client & Account Support

Build smart, organized meeting agendas and issue detailed, timely recaps with clear follow‑ups

Support client communications — drafting updates, responses, and status reports alongside the Brand Manager

Cover client calls as needed, representing the team with professionalism and clarity

Help keep client relationships running smoothly through proactive communication and follow‑through

Social & Digital

Support social team with social publishing across Instagram and TikTok

Own community management across client accounts

Coordinate influencer and creator programs: seeding, outreach, UGC initiatives, and PR gifting

Monitor digital performance across channels, surface insights, and recommend optimizations

Events & Partnerships

Support the planning and execution of local LA events — product launches, tastings, demos, and community activations

Identify and nurture relationships with event partners, venues, brands and influencers for co‑marketing opportunities

Manage event logistics, timelines, vendor coordination, and post‑event reporting

Campaign & Brand Support

Support campaign planning and execution across digital, social, and retail channels

Maintain marketing calendars and internal trackers with promotional activities and activations

Collaborate cross‑functionally to secure alignment, feedback, and approvals

Help ensure brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints

Reporting & Analysis

Compile regular performance reports across social, digital, events, and campaign channels

Track key metrics and flag trends, wins, and opportunities to the broader team

Prepare clear recaps and updates for internal stakeholders and client‑facing reports as needed

Operations & Admin

Input and manage all projects and tasks in Airtable with clear owners and due dates

Coordinate mailings of demo kits, event assets, and POS materials

Manage POS/SWAG inventory — track stock levels, alert team when low, reorder as needed

Perform ad hoc duties to support the marketing team

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

3+ years of marketing experience at a CPG/beverage brand or full‑service advertising or marketing agency

Preferably 1‑2 years working with high‑level stakeholders and/or clients

Hands‑on with Instagram and TikTok: content creation, publishing, community management

Experience executing events and/or managing partnerships

Comfortable and confident in client‑facing situations: calls, emails, and presentations

Experience in managing and collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an agency or fast‑paced environment

Fluent in Airtable or a comparable project management tool

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks on multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Self‑directed, adaptable, and able to pivot quickly in dynamic environments

Highly organized with a strong creative eye and attention to detail

Data‑literate: can pull numbers, read performance, and translate it into action

Driver’s license and car required

Ability to lift up to a minimum of 30 lbs.

Some weekend work required, some travel required.

This is a hybrid role, and our office is in El Segundo, CA.

Salary for this role is $75‑85k. Salary is determined through interviews and a review of candidate experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. In addition to salary LA. Libations offers a comprehensive benefits program.
