Seasonal & Regular Customer Experience Specialist - Scottsdale Fashion Square

Responsibilities

Assist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience.
Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment.
Inspire trust, teamwork and positive team relationships.
Defuse customer situations and provide resolution in a timely and effective manner.
Ensure the security and privacy of customer information through education, compliance and resolution of issues.
Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Work a flexible schedule based on department needs.
Qualifications

Ability to build relationships with customers, peers, and leadership.
Proficiency in multiple operating systems (MS Windows, iOS, Android).
Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Accountability, initiative and high level of ownership.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Physical Requirements

Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching; frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling; handle bulky items; lift items weighing up to 10 pounds routinely, occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Compensation

Hourly pay $17.10–$17.80.
Commission on apparel, shoes, accessories 3–14.5%; beauty and men’s fragrance 3%; eligible for performance‑based incentives/bonuses.
