Brick Executive Search has partnered with a luxury activewear brand preparing for launch to seek an Associate Designer. Led by a highly respected creative director with a storied history in luxury fashion, this brand is building a team with a strong foundation in both elevated performance and innovative design. This is an exciting opportunity for an associate-level designer with 2–4 years of activewear experience to join a founding creative team and contribute from day one.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the design team across all stages of seasonal activewear collections, from concept through final approval

Support the creation and revision of sketches and CADs in Adobe Illustrator

Help build and maintain concept boards capturing performance innovation, color direction, silhouette, fabrication, and luxury positioning

Track and update line sheets with current styles, colorways, and development status

Support tech pack creation with precise construction, fabrication, and spec details appropriate to performance and luxury standards

Attend fit sessions, record adjustments, and update all relevant documents

Maintain physical and digital fabric, trim, and sample libraries

Communicate with overseas vendors as directed to support sample tracking and development timelines

Take notes during design and development meetings; distribute and follow up on action items

Keep the design studio, samples, and racks organized and presentation-ready at all times

Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred

2–4 years of experience designing activewear; experience with luxury or premium performance brands a strong plus

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator required; Photoshop a plus

Strong eye for trend, color, fabrication, and technical construction within the activewear and performance markets

Understanding of luxury brand aesthetics and the ability to translate elevated design sensibility into functional apparel

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and consistent follow-through

Thrives in a fast-paced, launch-mode environment and adapts quickly to shifting priorities

Self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and a natural collaborator

Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office

Must be based in or able to commute to Long Beach, CA; hybrid schedule
