Multi-Media Specialist

Job Description
Develops and creates content and graphics for a wide variety of print and online publications, illustrations, collateral materials, website, video, and social media.

Salary offered will be commensurate with related experience. Employment days: 226. Position type: Full‑Time. Starting date: July 1, 2026.

Education / Certification
Bachelor’s degree in digital media production or media communications.

Special Knowledge / Skills

Presentation skills, particularly regarding technology/multimedia.

Knowledge of A/V equipment (switchers, cameras, graphic generators, and audio mixers).

Writing and editing skills.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, etc.

Working knowledge and experience of stadium audio/video production.

Experience

Video editing, live video production, and streaming.

Live filming expertise.

Podcast production and editing.

Graphic design experience preferred.

Ability to communicate and execute producing and directing audio/video communication.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the Communications Department with digital projects throughout the District.

Create videos to help parents understand policies and procedures throughout the District.

Be innovative and help the district move forward with digital media.

Assist all departments in video projects.

Provide coverage of major events and activities within the district.

Assist with staff development media needs.

Develop, support, and digitally document district events, trainings, meetings, and seminars as needed.

Participate in the planning and coordination of district programs (e.g., Convocation, Teacher of the Year program, grants, awards, retirements banquets, facility dedications, and other events).

Increase the use/views of Barbers Hill YouTube channels and continue to organize all digital content throughout the district.

Graphic design for district projects.

Other duties as assigned.
