Regional Account Manager
The Regional Account Manager (RAM) will be responsible for compliantly promoting the Company Biologics product portfolio to targeted customers with the goal of achieving sales growth and maintaining current business in assigned region. Education and promotional efforts will include interactions with all relevant Health Care Providers (HCPs) who impact patient care within the community, including but not limited to, Physicians, Pharmacists, P&T Committee Members for the treatment centers, Nurse Educators, office staff, etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote the product portfolio to targeted customer groups including:
Hemophilia Treatment Centers (HTCs) with healthcare professionals serving the bleeding disorders community
Hospital In-Patient Pharmacies with utilization of blood disorder treatments
Specialty Pharmacy representatives, patient education liaisons, and pharmacists
Specialty Distribution representatives
Hemophilia Chapters and Foundations, including executive directors, program coordinators, etc.
Product and support program services representation, exhibited through expert understanding and knowledge in product and disease state education
Ensure effective execution of strategies and tactics consistent with corporate brand and marketing plans
Plan, organize, and execute educational programs via community and HTC partnerships
Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to address customer needs appropriately and with a high sense of urgency
Deliver sales results that meet and or exceed sales goals established by corporate leadership
Utilization of resources within territory per following corporate direction
Responsible for delivering on-label promotional efforts in support of product approved indications
Compliance with all sales and marketing policies, corporate policies, state and federal laws
Develop strategic business plans for the region and execute plans with excellence
Identify and develop business solutions
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Must reside within territory, preferably in city identified as “HUB” city; each sales territory will cover multiple states
Must reside within reasonable distance of a major airport
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 4 years of demonstrated success in a specialty pharmaceutical or hospital/institutional sales position
Ability to translate complex medical and scientific information into key sales and marketing messages
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities
Competence in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Documented record of exceptional performance in prior sales positions
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong work ethic with proactive mindset
Willingness and ability to work within and outside of traditional business hours
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience with complex pharmaceutical sales (orphan drug, specialty product, biologic, oncology, etc.) required
3+ years Hematology sales experience
Developed relationships or experience with specialty pharmacies and HUB services
