Iyka Enterprises, Inc. is looking for a sharp, curious, and highly organized intern to support media outreach, stakeholder research, strategic communications, and event-related relationship building.
This role is ideal for a student interested in public relations, journalism, communications, business strategy, public policy, higher education, civic leadership, or entrepreneurship.
The intern will help identify the right people, organizations, media outlets, and institutions for targeted outreach connected to Iyka, Varna-CQ™, leadership events, higher education procurement events, and future strategic initiatives.
What You Will Work On
Research targeted media outlets, journalists, podcasts, university leaders, corporate leaders, and institutional decision-makers
Build stakeholder and ecosystem maps for events and outreach campaigns
Identify who matters in a specific organization or ecosystem and how decisions may flow
Support invitation lists for curated events and leadership discussions
Draft outreach emails, LinkedIn messages, media pitches, and follow-up notes
Help prepare briefing notes before meetings or events
Research organizations, executives, universities, agencies, and potential collaborators
Support PR and media planning for events, book-related visibility, and Varna-CQ™ thought leadership
Track outreach activity, responses, and follow-up needs
Skills We Are Looking For
Strong research ability
Clear writing and communication skills
Ability to organize information into useful summaries, tables, and lists
Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google, LinkedIn, and research databases
Strong judgment: ability to distinguish between general contacts and truly relevant contacts
Interest in business, leadership, public policy, higher education, media, or institutional ecosystems
Professional communication style
Ability to follow through and keep records updated
Nice to Have
Journalism, PR, communications, political science, public policy, business, or social science background
Experience with media lists, LinkedIn research, event outreach, or stakeholder mapping
Interest in AI, leadership, workforce development, education, or civic ecosystems
Ability to create concise executive summaries
