About The Role
We're looking for an exceptional founding designer to help define a new category.

As our first designer, you'll work directly with the founders to shape every aspect of Voicepanel, from core product experiences to brand, storytelling, and the overall quality bar of the company.

This is not a role for someone who wants to optimize an existing design system. It's a role for someone who wants to invent new interaction models, rethink how people interact with AI, and help define what great product design looks like in an AI-native world.

What you'll own

Reimagine how people give feedback to companies. We’re building a new kind of feedback experience that spans conversations, usability tests, mobile screen recordings, prototypes, concepts, images, videos, and entirely new interaction models that don’t exist yet. You'll craft delightful experiences that respondents genuinely enjoy while delivering rich, high-quality signals that help companies make better decisions.

Design exceptional experiences for modern product teams. Shape the workflows customers use to evaluate products, collect feedback, analyze results, and drive decisions. Deeply understand how teams work across their product stack—including AI tools, design systems, and MCP-powered workflows—and transform sophisticated capabilities into experiences that feel intuitive, trustworthy, and delightful.

Help define a new category. We're building something without established patterns or playbooks. You'll help invent the interaction models, design principles, and quality standards that define how customer-informed product development works in an AI-native world.

Why this role is special

Define a category. Product development is being reinvented by AI. You'll help define how customer-informed decision making works in an AI-native world.

Work with exceptional people. You'll collaborate with experienced builders from Google, Microsoft, Apple, and leading startups who care deeply about craft, quality, and customer understanding.

Help build the company. As our first designer, you’ll be shaping the product and brand to the design culture and long-term direction of the business.

Requirements

Experience designing complex B2B SaaS products

Strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking and craft

Experience with dynamic AI/ML customer experiences

Frontend development experience (React, TypeScript, etc.)

Familiarity with tools like Claude, Cursor, and AI-assisted development workflows

Experience conducting user research or usability testing

Located in the San Francisco Bay Area

Strongly preferred: Experience working at a high-growth startup
