About Herman‑Scheer

Herman‑Scheer is a brand consultancy that creates brands, products, and experiences for businesses that keep people healthy and happy. We focus on disruptive healthcare, wellness technology, healthy food and beverages, fitness and recreation, and personal care. We have a small growing team that is primarily remote with an office space in Venice for occasional in‑person meetings and working sessions.
Position: Brand Designer

As a Brand Designer you will work alongside creative directors, strategists, copywriters, art directors and motion designers to create a diverse range of identity systems for our client partners that are highly differentiated, strategic and effective for their business goals.
We are open to hiring for various levels for this role – from associates with initial work experience to seasoned Senior Designers (10–20 years experience). Our culture and love of our work is paramount, and we focus on having the right type of people on our team.
Responsibilities

Develop Creative Concepts – work with our team to synthesize business objectives, target audiences, and brand strategies to produce design system concepts and mood boards.
Produce Key Brand Touchpoints – collaborate with a copywriter to produce high‑fidelity mockups that demonstrate the brand in its most important formats.
Create Design Systems – establish guidelines for the use of brand marks, fonts, colors, graphics, patterns, textures, photos, illustrations, renders and other visual elements.
Multifaceted Design – support web design and social content design in addition to brand identity design.
Stay Ahead of Industry Trends – stay informed on industry trends, creative best practices, and emerging tools to keep our work fresh and impactful.
Requirements

Compensation

We are seeking candidates at all experience levels. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Salary will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
