Scope
As a District Sales Manager, Northwest, you will retain and penetrate accounts to meet or exceed the business needs of key customers, differentiate Corning’s Life Sciences division in the marketplace, and support the achievement of division sales and profit objectives. You will develop new markets, applications, and customers, interact with senior external personnel on significant technical and commercial matters, and coordinate across departments and organizations.
Required Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required (in Life Sciences preferred)
4+ years sales experience
3+ years lab experience desired

Proficient in computer/data analysis (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

Day to Day Responsibilities
Meet or exceed the sales budget for the individual territory
Lead and develop a team of Account Managers at the field level
Build strong relationships with customers and distributors
Implement aggressive growth‑driven programs with distribution partners
Collaborate with all internal functional groups
Create, implement, and maintain a sales plan that meets or exceeds performance expectations
Understand CLS products and market dynamics, drivers, and channel dynamics
Manage all responsibilities within Corning’s framework and values
Territory: Boston, MA – New England
Travel Requirements
~25% travel
Hours of Work / Schedule
Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)

Salary Range
$110,138.00 – $151,440.00 assuming full‑time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job‑related factors, including geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
