About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly creative and strategic Senior Exterior Designer to join our state-of-the-art design studio in Dearborn. In this role, you’ll work within the Thrill Studio, contributing to both advanced concept vehicles and production programs—helping shape the future look and feel of their vehicles.

What You’ll Do

Design innovative vehicle exteriors from concept through production

Create sketches, renderings, and 3D digital models to bring ideas to life

Develop physical clay models to showcase design intent

Collaborate with cross-functional design teams to deliver cohesive vehicle visions

Contribute to forward-thinking, brand-focused design concepts

Balance creative, strategic, and analytical thinking to solve design challenges

What We’re Looking For

4+ years of automotive exterior design experience

Strong portfolio showcasing concept and production exterior work

Expertise in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Alias AutoStudio, and 3D modeling software

Experience with clay modeling development

Ability to think creatively while aligning designs to brand and production goals

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree required (Transportation Design, Industrial Design, or related field preferred)
