We’re seeking a news editor with a strong journalism background and expertise in China-U.S. relations. This role will be responsible for curating, writing, and strategizing newsletter content, ensuring that publications are engaging, insightful, and relevant to our audience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute editorial strategies for the newsletter, focusing on China-U.S. relations.
Curate and write engaging content, including news summaries, analysis, and opinion pieces.
Stay updated on major developments in U.S.-China relations, identifying key trends and issues to cover.
Collaborate with the editorial and marketing teams to refine publication content.
Optimize newsletter formatting and distribution for maximum reader engagement.
Requirements
Journalism background with experience in reporting, editing, or news analysis.
Strong understanding of China-U.S. relations, including political, economic, and cultural dynamics.
Experience in newsletter writing and digital publishing.
Excellent editorial judgment and ability to distill complex topics into concise and compelling content.
Familiarity with audience engagement strategies for newsletters.
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
