Job Summary
Responsible for the sale of Comcast Commercial Internet, Video and Voice based services to mid‑size and large businesses. Works as part of a team to drive sales using an array of prospecting activities and cultivation of relationships with institutions in designated territories. Designs and delivers live sales presentations to prospective clients, develops relationships with individual businesses and the community and positions the Comcast brand as a key component of the sales strategy, in keeping with Comcast's touchstones.
Core Responsibilities
Creates and delivers face‑to‑face sales presentations that demonstrate knowledge of the latest Comcast products and services. Sells to exceed departmental financial and unit targets, staying abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to position Comcast Business Services in the marketplace.
Develops sales territory, including cultivation of local partnerships and organizational affiliations. Actively generates new leads with targeted businesses through prospecting activities such as cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals and partner relationships. Actively promotes the Comcast brand within territory.
Retains customer base by delivering on the Comcast Credo, ensuring a superior customer experience. Builds and maintains customer relationships to drive retention; works with internal teams to ensure service levels that meet and exceed customer expectations.
Maintains accurate and quality sales records and prepares sales and activity reports.
Attends out‑of‑office customer meetings regularly and demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrates proficiency in Network Design, MAN technologies & designs (DSx, OC‑x, WDM, Ethernet), Internet technologies, Voice Network Technologies (VoIP), Data Networking Technologies (LAN, MAN, WAN, VPN), networking protocols (Layers 1‑3), Customer Premise Equipment, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, and E‑rate Contracting Processes.
Exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Maintains punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees. Sales positions may be eligible for a Commission under an applicable plan; non‑sales positions may be eligible for a Bonus. Education
Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast may also consider applicants who hold a combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
