MultiMedia Journalist

Key Responsibilities

Pitch, research, and report local news stories for TV and digital

Conduct interviews and gather information from diverse sources

Write, shoot, voice, and edit news packages

Engage audiences through social media and web platforms

Collaborate with producers and news managers to shape coverage

Uphold journalistic standards and editorial integrity

Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support team and station goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field (or equivalent experience)

2+ years of reporting experience preferred

Strong on‑air presence and storytelling skills

Proficiency in newsroom technology and editing software

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
