Responsibilities

Track rights and organize deals negotiated by the Music BA team (composer, music supervisor, original songs, soundtrack distribution deals).

Manage internal tools and systems such as Airtable; identify and implement changes to improve efficiency and scale.

Respond to ad‑hoc rights queries, both internally and externally.

Serve as point of contact for publishing registrations for original works with the publishing admin partner.

Coordinate payments for talent and third parties, working cross‑functionally with teams such as Legal, Creative, and Finance.

Perform general administrative tasks to support the team.

Ingest rights data into internal systems and maintain accurate records.

Review existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, including AI solutions.

Schedule and track meetings, and follow up on next steps.

A Day in the Life

Attend internal meetings with Music BA, Creative, Coordinators, and Legal/OC for status and progress updates.

Ingest rights data into internal systems.

Respond to ad hoc questions regarding deals and rights.

Coordinate invoices and payments.

Review processes to improve efficiencies, including AI integration.

Set up meetings and track next steps.

Basic Qualifications

Knowledge of ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context (confidentiality, accuracy, bias prevention).

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or 4+ years of industry experience.

4+ years of work experience in a relevant role within the Music/Film/TV/Entertainment production industry.

Strong organizational skills and experience with rights management systems (Box, Rightsline, Quip, Airtable).

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the music industry and production landscape, including labels, publishers, and other entertainment entities.

Location: USA, CA, Culver City – Salary range: $70,400.00 – $101,800.00 USD annually.

Base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
