Job Specific Summary

At Medtronic, our Mission is to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life. Within our Structural Heart business, we are advancing life‑changing therapies for patients with complex heart conditions. This role is ideal for an early‑career product professional who is interested in building experience in product marketing, product lifecycle management, and cross‑functional collaboration within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Support product marketing initiatives across the product lifecycle, including launch preparation, in‑market performance monitoring, and lifecycle management activities.

Assist in developing product positioning, messaging, and value propositions using customer insights, clinical evidence, and market research.

Analyze product performance data and market trends to help identify opportunities to improve adoption, utilization, and customer experience.

Partner with cross‑functional teams including sales, medical education, clinical, R&D, regulatory, quality, marketing communications, and supply chain to support product initiatives and ensure coordinated execution.

Contribute to the development of marketing materials, sales tools, and training resources that support field teams and product adoption.

Participate in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes by supporting data collection, analysis, and cross‑functional coordination.

Collaborate with sales, finance, and supply chain partners to help monitor demand trends, product performance, and portfolio priorities.

Support lifecycle planning activities such as demand forecasting inputs, inventory considerations, and product transition planning.

Assist in identifying potential risks or opportunities that may impact product performance or supply.

Partner with U.S. and global field teams to understand customer needs and gather feedback that informs product improvements and marketing initiatives.

Support product launch and adoption activities by helping develop training materials, tools, and communication resources for the field organization.

Participate in customer and physician engagement opportunities to build understanding of clinical workflows, customer needs, and market dynamics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.

2–4 years of experience in marketing, product management, sales, consulting, healthcare, or a related business or commercial role (0–2 years with an advanced degree).

Demonstrated ability to manage projects, analyze data, and collaborate across teams.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and matrixed environments.

Experience in medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industries (nice to have).

Exposure to product marketing, commercialization, or product lifecycle management (nice to have).

Experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders in a corporate or commercial environment (nice to have).

Travel & Onsite Requirements

Travel: Approximately 10‑20%, primarily domestic with occasional global collaboration.

Onsite Requirement: Minimum 4 days per week onsite to support collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Benefits & Compensation

Salary ranges for U.S. (excl. PR) locations (USD): $103,200.00 – $154,800.00.

Position eligible for the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
