ADO Architect

Job Description
Seeking an ADO Lead / Architect to design and govern the Azure DevOps ecosystem.

Define ADO structure across projects, repositories, boards, and pipelines

Establish governance standards including naming conventions, permissions, and branching strategies

Align ADO capabilities to Agile workflows (Scrum, Kanban)

Partner with leadership on rollout strategy and adoption approach

Skills and Requirements

6+ years of experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO) in an enterprise environment

Proven experience standing up ADO environments end-to-end (projects, repos, boards, pipelines)

Strong expertise in ADO governance including naming conventions, permissions, and branching strategies

Experience designing ADO structures aligned to Agile workflows (Scrum, Kanban)

Experience defining and standardizing development lifecycle workflows within ADO

Experience partnering with leadership to drive tool adoption and rollout strategy

Strong cross-functional communication skills with ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders

Enterprise or aerospace experience

ADO transformation or large-scale rollout experience

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tool integrations
