Overview
We are hiring a Sales Coordinator. The Sales Coordinator is a direct link between the front desk and our sales team, assisting incoming reservation calls for groups and meetings and supporting the sales team with contracts, room blocks, and communication with the hotel team to ensure guests and corporate clients receive exactly what we promised.
Key Responsibilities
Be the first point of contact for incoming sales calls, responding quickly, professionally, and clearly.
Assist with or manage room blocks, client notifications of key dates, group resumes, event orders (BEOs), billing details, and other booking and event execution tasks.
Coordinate pre‑event, main‑event, and post‑event details: track, detail, and communicate with internal partners and external clients.
Learn about the hotel’s food and beverage products, pricing, presentation, and function space, AV, and other event details.
Use digital sales systems (Delphi, CI/TY, PMS, etc.) and understand the hotel’s sales strategies (rates, fees, budgeted goals). Implement these tools to accomplish individual and team goals.
Participate in internal meetings, conference calls, reporting, training, and other communications required.
Collaborate with the team, embody an entrepreneurial spirit and make decisions that benefit the hotel and the team.
Own career development, advocate for training, and pursue job opportunities that enhance talents, skills, creativity, and growth.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Excellent communication, time‑management, and organizational skills.
Detail oriented and proactive with a keen focus on detail.
Self‑motivated and able to work independently and with a team.
Hotel experience preferred.
