About the Role

Assistant Designer – Lee Design team. This full‑time, onsite position in Greensboro, NC reports to the Designer and supports all design activities related to Lee Design, driving new, trend‑right, and innovative products consistent with the merchandising brief while staying true to the Brand DNA.
Responsibilities

Assist the Design team in developing seasonal product lines and special projects, including fabric, trims, artwork and overall style details.
Enter and track all virtual and physical prototypes.
Support design presentations, decks and maintain design cadsheets.
Develop and maintain the Design Development Tracker.
Approve color lab dips, strike‑offs and handlooms in collaboration with the Designer.
Build 3D CADs for the line assortment.
Create plaids and simple repeats for each new seasonal collection.
Takes notes during prototype and fit reviews and other key milestone meetings.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in apparel design, art, graphics or equivalent combination of experience.
1 year professional experience and/or training in apparel design.
Illustration skills – hand sketch and Illustrator capabilities, with good color sense.
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop proficiency.
Familiarity with V‑Stitcher/3D design – preferred but not required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Highly organized, strong multitasking abilities and a positive, collaborative attitude.
