Research, Elicitation & Collaboration · Select and execute effective information-gathering techniques (interviews, workshops, document reviews, hands-on system exploration) to elicit and capture accurate technical documentation and related business/operational processes.
Partner closely with architects, developers, QA, cybersecurity, technical product managers, business analysts, and operations teams to ensure technical accuracy and alignment.
Collaborate with delivery planning and project teams to align documentation priorities with strategic initiatives and release plans.
Maintain timely communication with leadership, peers and business partners, and promote a high-performing remote-friendly environment by being active, engaged, available and responsive during core business hours.
Content Governance & Quality · Maintain a structured, centralized technical documentation library with version control, approvals, sign-offs, and archival standards.
Ensure consistency of terminology, structure, and style across all technical documentation and teams.
Provide regular status updates, proactively manage dependencies, and escalate risks or blockers as needed.
Continuous Improvement · Stay current with technical products, platforms, and environments supported by the organization.
Share best practices, lessons learned, and documentation standards across teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to documentation processes, tooling, and knowledge management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Core Skills · Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.
Strong research, analysis, and knowledge-elicitation capabilities.
Detail-oriented, curious, and motivated to continuously learn new technologies and domains.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with highly technical, cross-functional teams.

Working knowledge of relational databases and query concepts (e.g., MS SQL).
Familiarity with modern application development environments and tools (e.g., Microsoft .NET, C#, Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps/TFS).
Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving capabilities.
Understanding of systems integration (e.g., API, REST/SOAP services), SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure), and application modernization.
Preferred Experience · Health insurance, healthcare technology, or other highly regulated industry experience.
Deep understanding of HIPAA, PHI, PII compliance, and regulatory driven development.
Educational and Experience Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of recent experience in a technical writing or documentation role.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Society for Technical Communication or equivalent) preferred.
