Lead Wedding Photographer
Zion Springs | Hamilton, Virginia

Contract / Per-Event (1099)

As a Contract Wedding Photographer, you'll be responsible for documenting weddings and special events at Zion Springs while delivering a premium client experience. You'll work closely with our in-house Creative Producer and Digital Studio team to ensure every wedding is captured beautifully and consistently with our brand standards.

This is an ideal opportunity for experienced wedding photographers looking for consistent bookings without the burden of marketing, sales, or client acquisition.

Responsibilities

Photograph weddings and special events at Zion Springs

Capture key moments, details, emotions, and storytelling elements throughout the day

Follow established shot lists and creative direction while exercising artistic judgment

Coordinate with videographers, planners, entertainment, and production teams

Maintain a professional, polished, and guest-focused demeanor

Manage equipment and backup procedures to ensure reliable coverage

Upload and deliver RAW image files according to company standards and timelines

Represent the Zion Springs brand with professionalism and hospitality

Qualifications Required

Minimum 2 years of wedding photography experience

Strong portfolio demonstrating wedding and event photography

Professional DSLR or mirrorless camera equipment

Multiple lenses suitable for weddings and low-light environments

Backup camera body and memory card redundancy

Ability to work weekends and evenings

Reliable transportation

Preferred

Experience photographing luxury weddings

Strong understanding of off-camera lighting and flash techniques

Experience working with videographers and production teams

FAA Part 107 drone certification (not required but a plus)
