A freight forwarder is hiring a business development manager to win new air and ocean business across Dallas-Fort Worth. This is a hunting role, with an operations team in place to deliver what you sell.
Day to day
Win new forwarding accounts in air and ocean across DFW and wider Texas.
Build your pipeline from your own network and your own prospecting.
Sell the full service: air, ocean, customs and warehousing.
Manage each account from the first meeting through to live shipments.
You'll fit if
You have a track record in freight forwarding sales and a book of business you can bring.
You have live relationships with importers, exporters and BCOs in the region.
You can prospect, present and close on your own.
You are comfortable carrying a gross profit target.
On offer
Up to $150,000 base, depending on your book and track record.
Uncapped commission on gross profit, and you keep your accounts.
