Manager, Email & Lifecycle Marketing
Primary Purpose
The Manager, Email & Lifecycle Marketing is responsible for leading the execution of email and SMS marketing programs, ensuring campaigns and triggered journeys are delivered with excellence, accuracy, and efficiency. This role translates lifecycle strategy and marketing briefs into high-quality customer communications, while leading a team and establishing best-in-class executional processes.
Responsibilities
Successful individuals will leverage their proficiency in:
Campaign Execution & Operations
Manage end-to-end execution of email and SMS campaigns and triggered programs
Ensure accuracy, QA, and on-time delivery across all sends
Coordinate cross-functional workflows and external partners
Workflow & Process Management
Lead briefing process and ensure alignment with lifecycle and marketing strategies
Establish and maintain execution standards and SLAs
Optimize processes to improve speed, efficiency, and quality
Creative Strategy & Briefing
Lead the development of Lifecycle creative briefs, ensuring alignment with brand voice, audience insights, platform best practices, and campaign objectives.
Partner with creative, marketing, and channel teams to produce compelling assets tailored for segments.
Ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity across all channels and touchpoints.
Facilitate creative reviews and feedback loops to optimize asset performance and storytelling.
Team Leadership
Manage and develop a team of execution specialists
Provide coaching and build platform and lifecycle capabilities
Prioritize workload and manage resourcing
Performance & Optimization
Lead weekly post-campaign reporting and insights
Identify optimization opportunities and testing hypotheses
Partner with analytics and strategy teams to improve performance
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required
5+ years of relevant experience building media campaigns with a multi-million-dollar annual budget
Experience within retail or luxury a plus
Hands‑on experience with ESP platforms (Cordial preferred)
Strong foundation in testing and measurement methodologies, including A/B testing, with a data‑driven mindset to inform decisions
Strategic thinker and creative problem solver, able to synthesize insights and formulate clear conclusions
Excellent communication, presentation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
Highly organized with strong project management capabilities; able to manage multiple priorities and complex workflows efficiently
Proven ability to execute strategy with precision, delivering high‑quality campaign output and managing high‑volume calendars
Advanced analytical skills, including ability to triangulate across datasets to drive measurable impact
Leadership experience with a track record of mentoring, coaching, and developing high‑performing teams
Compensation
Base Pay Range: $95,000.00 – $115,000.00
