Key Deliverables:
Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web-based applications using modern front-end technologies.
Create intuitive, user-friendly, and mobile-responsive interfaces utilizing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional web solutions.
Integrate front-end applications with backend systems and third-party services through REST APIs and JSON-based data exchanges.
Ensure all websites and web applications comply with WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards and best practices.
Conduct accessibility testing and remediation using industry-standard accessibility validation and auditing tools.
Perform usability analysis, cross-browser testing, and performance optimization to improve user experience and application efficiency.
Develop reusable front-end components and maintain consistent design standards across applications.
Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards, accessibility guidelines, and development best practices.
Utilize Git for source code management, branching strategies, version control, and collaborative development.
Build, manage, and support Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and release processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues related to functionality, performance, accessibility, and browser compatibility.
Monitor application performance and implement enhancements to improve reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
Document technical designs, development processes, and deployment procedures to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
Stay current with emerging web technologies, accessibility requirements, and front-end development trends to recommend continuous improvements.
Required Skills:
The User Interface Developer must possess at least six (8) years of experience in the role developing websites and web-based applications.
Responsive web design expert with advanced front-end website or web-based application building experience.
Proficiency in client-side technology: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery.
Proficiency in web service and data technologies: REST APIs, Json.
Developing with accessibility considerations, meeting or exceeding the WCAG 2.2, AA level.
Working with continuous integration and delivery tools CI/CD.
Working collaboratively using CI/CD pipelines and Git for version control.
Using accessibility validation tools.
Analyzing and testing usability of websites or web-based applications to meet performance and accessibility standards.
