Advanced Technologies is seeking a full time Web Developer /Graphic Designer /Document Accessibility Specialist to provide support and maintenance services for existing client's, Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE), website.
Responsibilities
Provide support and maintenance Services for existing ALSDE
Development of new website features and functionality as defined by
Remediate PDF documents, Word files, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations to meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and PDF/UA standards.
Perform any other closely related professional services typically associated with website development, maintenance, and support, including but not limited to activities such as
Writing and editing content
Document remediation
Solving code problems
Training
Preparation of documentation
Other problem- solving tasks
Designing webpage layout
Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field with two (2) to three (3) years of professional design experience. Portfolio of strong creative work. Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
