Position Description
Protingent Staffing has an exciting Contract Technical Editor opportunity located in Kirkland, WA

Job Responsibilities

Integrate specification document errata

Edit content drafted by SME contributors in support of new wireless technology features

Ensure standardization of our client's specifications and other SIG content via Drafting Guidelines

Work on editorial and CCMS-based projects

Job Qualifications

5+ years’ experience editing technical content for a technical audience

Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written

Excellent grammar and proofreading skills

Meticulous attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with subject matter experts

Experience producing content in Microsoft Word and XML-based CCMS

Experience with Paligo and Fluid Topics preferred

Familiarity with Atlassian suite, specifically Jira

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communications, English, or equivalent experience

Job Type: Contract

Location: Kirkland, WA

Pay Rate Range: $30-45/hr.
