Opportunity
As a modeling and simulation (M&S) engineer, you know leading‑edge simulation frameworks, campaign analysis tools, and mission‑level modeling are critical to national defense. At Booz Allen you can use your engineering expertise to help develop next‑generation Air Force capabilities. We need your skills in mission and campaign‑level modeling, advanced simulation tools, and analytical methodologies to help create innovative solutions that directly impact the warfighter.

As an M&S engineer supporting Air Force customers you’ll evaluate mission and campaign models, perform analytical assessments, and improve the design and integration of simulation‑driven insights for complex defense systems. Your experience across the M&S pyramid, from engineering‑level models through mission and campaign analysis, along with expertise in tools such as AFSIM and STORM, is key and makes you an integral part of delivering a client‑focused solution.

In this role you’ll contribute to the direction of mission‑critical solutions by evaluating, improving, and designing advanced M&S analyses that will help transform and define the Air Force of the future. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and engage from across the enterprise to help deliver world‑class solutions to conduct mission‑to‑campaign analyses, assess military utility of future capabilities, evaluate operational concepts, and support data‑driven decision‑making. Your engineering knowledge will help the U.S. Air Force expand and improve their capabilities to protect national security and enhance warfighter effectiveness.

Requirements

Experience with M&S in a professional or educational environment, including mission‑level and campaign‑level analysis using tools such as AFSIM and STORM

Knowledge of the M&S pyramid, including engineering, mission, and campaign‑level modeling concepts, and USAF CONOPS

Ability to independently design, execute, and analyze mission‑to‑campaign modeling efforts and military utility assessments

Ability to develop code in object‑oriented programming languages such as Python or C++, to support modeling, simulation, and data analysis efforts

Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field

Nice if you have

Experience supporting U.S. Air Force or other DoD operational or strategic analysis organizations

Knowledge of advanced analytical methods, simulation frameworks, and operational analysis techniques

Knowledge of NGTS

Ability to communicate complex analytical results to senior leaders and non‑technical stakeholders

Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or a related field

Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Compensation
Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
