Creative Designer, Social Ads (German fluency)
You will lead the creative direction of our social advertising across Europe.

Responsibilities

Creative powerhouse

Turn brief into scroll‑stopping creatives. Produce UGC, hook variants, static cuts, founder content, organic Reels & Shorts; move from brief to v1 in under 48 hours and meet 80%+ first‑pass QA. Format adaptations for all placements: Stories, Reels, Feed from the start.

Visual system

Design static and motion assets for paid social on‑brand every time; build and maintain a repeatable system including automation: templates, motion presets, asset libraries for efficient and consistent output.

Production backbone

Provide all creative and visual materials for everything published across channels.

Must have

4+ years editing paid social and short‑form video with at least 2 years for a DTC brand or performance‑marketing team

A great eye for elevating brand design in paid social, keeping Ahead recognizable across channels and build a distinct visual style true to our brand

Demonstrably fast turnaround at scale; paid social creatives shipped in days, not weeks, without dropping quality

Strong experience designing for Meta (Facebook + Instagram), our current primary channels and where most output goes

Full creative stack: video editing, motion design, and statics, comfortable switching between formats in a single week

Able to spin up multiple variants from a single brief or winning ad; different hooks, cuts, angles

Comfortable sourcing licensed, on‑brand B‑roll, stock, music, and sound design, including with AI tools where it speeds things up

Collaborate, and create seamlessly with AI tools but without sacrificing your own great taste

Multi‑language workflow, adapting creatives across DE, CH‑DE subtitles, and EN

Fluent in German and English, comfortable in Figma

Nice to have

Experience designing across paid channels (LinkedIn, Google Display, YouTube Shorts) or organic socials

Experience shooting video footage (we can shoot most of our own, but a plus if you can help out)

AI‑assisted creative production, using AI to ship faster or create entirely new ads

Knowledge of Meta algorithm and performance mechanics

French language proficiency

Experience with health brands

Bonus: experience in health, wellness, or consumer biotech
