Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)
Duration: 6–9 Month Contract (Potential Extension)

Position Overview
Seeking an experienced AI Agent Architecture / Agent-to-Agent Protocol Specialist to support the design, development, and governance of enterprise AI solutions focused on agentic workflows, prompt engineering, orchestration patterns, and advanced Generative AI capabilities.
This role will partner closely with Product, Architecture, Engineering, Governance, and Business stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and reusable AI solutions that support enterprise adoption of agent-based workflows and GenAI-powered business processes.
The ideal candidate combines strong AI architecture expertise with hands‑on experience designing agentic systems, prompt frameworks, orchestration patterns, and enterprise AI governance models.
Key Responsibilities
AI Architecture & Solution Design
Design scalable enterprise AI architectures supporting agent-based workflows and intelligent automation
Develop reusable AI solution patterns and reference architectures
Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and agentic design approaches
Translate business use cases into practical AI‑enabled solution designs
Define standards for AI architecture, scalability, governance, and operationalization
Agentic AI & Agent-to-Agent Protocols
Design and evaluate agent-to-agent communication patterns
Develop multi‑agent orchestration strategies and workflow architectures
Create reusable agent frameworks and interaction models
Support implementation of autonomous and semi‑autonomous AI workflows
Evaluate emerging agentic AI technologies and protocol standards
Prompt Engineering & Evaluation
Design, test, and optimize prompts for consistency, reliability, and business value
Develop prompt engineering best practices and governance standards
Create prompt evaluation frameworks and quality measurement approaches
Support prompt lifecycle management and version control processes
Improve AI response quality through structured testing and optimization
Workflow Orchestration & Automation
Design AI‑enabled workflow automation solutions
Build orchestration patterns supporting complex business processes
Define reusable workflow components and integration patterns
Partner with engineering teams to operationalize AI workflows
Support enterprise adoption of agent-based automation capabilities
Governance, Risk & Responsible AI
Ensure AI solutions align with enterprise governance requirements
Support responsible AI, privacy, security, and compliance initiatives
Develop controls for model usage, prompt management, and agent governance
Partner with risk and compliance teams to assess AI‑related risks
Establish standards for safe and governed AI implementation
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Engineering, and Business teams
Communicate AI concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
Document architecture decisions, standards, and reusable design patterns
Support AI strategy, adoption planning, and value realization initiatives
Required Qualifications
Experience
5+ years of technology, architecture, AI, automation, or advanced analytics experience
Experience designing enterprise AI solutions and architectures
Hands‑on experience with Generative AI and agentic AI concepts
Experience developing AI‑enabled workflows and orchestration patterns
Strong background in prompt engineering and prompt evaluation
Experience translating business requirements into AI solution designs
