Purpose and Objective
SAP Global Marketing seeks an Audience Relations Senior Specialist to build and maintain trust with key stakeholders including analysts, civil society organizations, employees, financial community, influencers, media, bloggers, and public policy makers.

Responsibilities

Educate and engage stakeholders through programs, campaigns, and events.

Share audience‑relevant news, facts, and stories.

Monitor SAP and IT‑related audience discussions and ensure crisis readiness.

Advise the SAP Board and internal stakeholders.

Develop and maintain a communication plan based on company and audience requirements.

Identify budget requirements and manage financial forecasts.

Evolve channels, formats, and programs based on impact measurement to meet audience‑specific requirements.

Leverage knowledge of assigned audience relations topics and broader SAP strategy.

Maintain independent relationships with selected external audience members.

Provide constructive feedback to cross‑functional colleagues and managers.

Create audience‑specific corporate messaging on assigned topics.

Own subtopic in high‑impact programs or campaigns, set priorities, drive tactics, and deliver strong results.

Contribute to the annual communications plan and strategy evolution.

Act as a solid contributor in crisis situations.

Lead and undertake supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Occupational Experience
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field with six (6) years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience in the relevant occupation; or Master’s degree with four (4) years of experience.

Qualifications / Skills and Competencies

Minimum three (3) years leading a program with budget across marketing and product engineering teams, and executive maturity to deliver coaching pre/post analyst engagements.

Minimum one (1) year handling escalation of evaluations, developing and delivering analyst relations strategy, using data analysis tools such as Architect or Oz, and conducting Gartner Magic Quadrants and other evaluative research.

Travel
Position requires up to 30% domestic and international travel.

Compensation Range Transparency
The annual base salary range for this position is $115,794–$182,336, with a targeted combined range of $121,800–$207,200.
